The larger interior space allows for benches down both sides of the van. This allows for several radios to be placed on the table down the center. The Kfz 61 has the radios across the front and counters down the sides. There is only one walkway down the middle.

This is across the front of the van. The canvas covered window looks into the cab. The two projections between the counter and the window are the storage cabinets accessible from the outside. The side door is on the right. The counter allows for additional radio space.

The front of the van, taken from the side door. This is a different vehicle with a slightly different configuration. The counter extension folds down. The driver’s side window is covered by the canvas blackout curtain. The signals units traveled with both towed and portable generators to power the multitude of electrical equipment.

This is the other side of the front counter taken from inside, looking towards the side door. This vehicle has no exterior storage cabinet. There are many unidentified pieces of equipment in this photo. The radio is a Torn E b receiver. There is a station clock on the wall and a field phone on the right wall.

These pictures, taken from outside the rear door, shows the rear stowage cabinets from the inside. It would appear that the stowage bins may be accessible from inside and outside the vehicle. There are folding chairs hanging on the wall at the bottom. The roof vents can be seen towards the front of the cabin.
